The American Heart Association's HeartCode BLS course is an online, self-paced instructional program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. Students apply their knowledge to real-time decision-making and skills development in this environment.

Debriefing and coaching are provided immediately after each simulation to facilitate learning. After completing the online portion of the course, students practice and test their skills in person with our AHA-certified instructors.

Part 1 of this online course is completed from your home or office. This course requires a hands-on skills session (part 2) in our Hinsdale, IL office. You can choose your skills session date during the registration process; morning and evening sessions are available.

Students have access to all course content for two years after activating their course key.
